Spot Bitcoin ETFs See Inflows, Easing October Outflows
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have attracted significant inflows over the past two days, totaling $286 million and substantially narrowing October’s net outflows. This positive trend coincides with a neutral reading on the Crypto Fear & Greed Index.
On Tuesday, these ETFs saw net inflows of approximately $176 million, marking the second consecutive trading day of recovery. This followed $110 million in inflows on Monday, bringing the two-day total to $286 million, according to data from SoSoValue.
This rebound comes after substantial withdrawals of nearly $774 million were recorded on Thursday and Friday of the previous week. As of Tuesday, October’s net outflows have been reduced to about $26 million, while year-to-date net inflows remain strong at roughly $850 million.
Market sentiment also showed signs of improvement. Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index climbed to 51 from 48 the previous day, staying within the “Neutral” zone. This is a slight recovery from the “Greed” territory, where the index stood at 63 just a week prior.
At the time of publication, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading around $80,818, reflecting a 1.6% increase over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
In contrast, US spot Ether (ETH) ETFs continued to experience outflows. These funds recorded net outflows of approximately $149 million on Monday and Tuesday, extending a trend that has seen outflows for four consecutive weeks. October’s net outflows for Ether ETFs have reached $1.32 billion through Tuesday, placing the month on track for the largest net withdrawals since November 2025.
