Bitcoin Eyes $75K Surge Amid Familiar Market Signals

Bitcoin has faced headwinds in recent days, particularly after being rejected at the $85,000 mark on Wednesday, and is now contending for the critical $80,000 support level.

However, two prominent crypto analysts on X, Ted Pillows and EGRAG CRYPTO, suggest that even a significant pullback could remain within the confines of a larger bullish trend.

Earlier this weekend, Pillows observed that the primary cryptocurrency is closely mirroring the pattern that emerged following its cycle bottom in November 2022. He contends that the summer consolidation, the subsequent rally in late August and September, and the most recent correction from $87,000 to $80,000 have unfolded in a strikingly similar fashion.

Pillows is now focusing on the 16th week after the 2022 bottom, a period when the asset experienced a sudden downturn amid the U.S. banking crisis. He notes that Bitcoin is currently approaching the equivalent point in the current market cycle.

If this historical parallel holds true, Pillows anticipates another sharp correction for Bitcoin, potentially bottoming out around $74,000 to $75,000 in a worst-case scenario. Notably, this projection aligns with warnings issued by Peter Schiff over the weekend, which were largely dismissed by many analysts at the time.

Despite this potential dip, Pillows does not foresee it as the precursor to a prolonged downturn. Instead, his roadmap suggests a reversal from that region, followed by a recovery towards $90,000.

A Familiar Fractal

EGRAG CRYPTO maintains a bullish outlook on Bitcoin, highlighting a recurring pattern on its daily chart where periods of consolidation have consistently preceded significant upward movements. The analyst believes a third iteration of this setup may be developing as Bitcoin consolidates around its bull-market support band.

EGRAG argued that even a retracement to the range mentioned by Pillows would not automatically invalidate the bullish structure.

Conversely, EGRAG pointed out that a surge past $82,900, followed by a move above the more significant $86,000-$87,000 area, would signal the commencement of a genuine breakout rally. Beyond that, EGRAG’s key targets are set at $98,400 and extending as high as $114,900.
