JPMorgan Drives Solana Adoption, Tokenizing MONY and JLTXX

JPMorgan Asset Management has launched two of its tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, on the Solana blockchain, offering institutional investors a new avenue for on-chain cash management. The expansion, announced last night, makes both funds accessible to qualified U.S. investors via Morgan Money, the firm’s proprietary liquidity management and trading platform.

This integration adds Solana to the existing blockchain networks where these funds are available, underscoring the growing trend of traditional financial institutions exploring asset tokenization. The move by JPMorgan is seen as a significant development for Solana’s standing within institutional finance.

Funds Now Live on Solana

JPMorgan’s tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, are now operational on Solana. Both funds are available to eligible U.S. investors through the Morgan Money platform, which facilitates subscriptions, redemptions, and the management of token balances.

Product Details

The JPMorgan initiative on Solana encompasses two distinct investment products. The My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY), a tokenized money market fund introduced in December 2025, is structured as a Rule 506(c) private placement, providing eligible investors with exposure to U.S. dollar yields.

The JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) is a U.S.-registered government money market fund. It is designed to support stablecoin issuers under the provisions of the GENIUS Act, U.S. stablecoin legislation.

Investors can subscribe to and redeem shares through Morgan Money, with token balances delivered directly to their blockchain addresses. Both funds maintain their respective eligibility requirements, meaning this expansion does not grant universal access to retail investors.

The funds were initially launched on the Ethereum blockchain, with Solana now serving as an additional network for accessing these products. As of September 30, 2026, J.P. Morgan Asset Management reported $4.8 trillion in assets under management.

Tokenization and Institutional Adoption

The expansion of JPMorgan’s offerings onto Solana highlights a broader push to bridge traditional financial products with blockchain infrastructure. Tokenization, the process of representing financial assets as digital tokens on a blockchain, offers new methods for managing and transferring ownership records for money market funds, while also connecting investment products with digital asset infrastructure.

JPMorgan Asset Management stated that its multi-chain strategy is a response to clients operating across various blockchain networks. Paul Przybylski, the firm’s global head of product for digital and tokenized assets, noted that this expansion provides stablecoin issuers and institutional investors with access to the same funds across the networks they utilize.

This development could bolster Solana’s position in institutional financial applications, particularly if more asset managers and liquidity providers choose to deploy tokenized products on the network.

Market Impact and Outlook

While the introduction of these funds to Solana is a positive step for institutional adoption, its direct impact on the price of SOL, Solana’s native token, remains to be seen. The extent to which these products generate activity and influence demand for the network’s token will be a key factor.

Solana is currently trading around $103. Analysts have set a three-month base-case target of $122.58, with projections suggesting a potential climb towards $147.09 by the end of 2026, contingent on improving market conditions. A more optimistic scenario could see SOL reach $250 by year-end, aligning with some forecasts and representing a significant upside from its current price.

JPMorgan’s move onto Solana contributes to the network’s narrative of institutional acceptance, especially as traditional financial firms increasingly bring tokenized products on-chain. If other institutions follow suit, increased activity within Solana’s ecosystem could support a higher valuation for SOL.

The critical question is whether this institutional adoption will translate into sustained network demand. While JPMorgan’s initiative is an encouraging development, the ability of SOL to achieve its price targets will also depend on broader cryptocurrency market momentum and overall investor risk appetite.
