Spiko’s Tokenized Funds Surge to $3 Billion Market Cap
Spiko, a fintech firm founded in 2023, has achieved a remarkable milestone, with its tokenized funds reaching a $3 billion market capitalization. This represents a staggering 536% increase in value over the past year, a rapid ascent for such a young company.
Stellar Dominates Spiko’s Holdings
The majority of Spiko’s assets are currently held on the Stellar blockchain, which hosts $1.9 billion of the company’s funds. Arbitrum, an Ethereum layer-2 network, accounts for $669 million, with smaller allocations distributed across the Ethereum mainnet and other blockchain networks.
Regulated Tokenized Money Market Funds
Spiko specializes in issuing regulated tokenized money market funds. The company’s innovative approach places fund shares directly onto a blockchain, allowing investors to hold tokens instead of traditional paper certificates managed by a transfer agent. The underlying assets for these funds primarily consist of Eurozone and U.S. Treasury bills.
UCITS Framework and Daily Liquidity
The product lineup includes T-bill-backed funds and swap-based products, co-managed with Amundi. These offerings operate under French UCITS rules, Europe’s primary regulatory framework for retail investment funds. Spiko’s products provide investors with daily liquidity and accrue yield. The company ensures regulatory compliance through strategic partnerships with established custodians such as CACEIS and BNP Paribas.
Exponential Growth Trajectory
Spiko’s growth has been exceptionally rapid. Assets under management stood at $400 million in July 2025. This figure surpassed $1 billion by February 2026 and crossed the $2 billion mark in July 2026. By October 6, 2026, assets reached $2.7 billion, and by October 21, 2026, they had climbed to approximately $3 billion. The last month alone saw an increase of about $374 million, a gain of 14.07%.
Series B Funding Round
On October 6, 2026, Spiko announced the closure of its $90 million Series B funding round, led by NEA. This investment brought the company’s total funding to $120 million, valuing the firm at $800 million.
Global Reach and Expansion Plans
The platform currently serves over 10,000 businesses and individuals across more than 25 jurisdictions. The significant presence on Stellar, hosting $1.9 billion, highlights its importance for Spiko’s operations. Arbitrum’s $669 million share signifies Spiko’s growing footprint within the Ethereum ecosystem.
With a European focus, Spiko’s funds are anchored in Eurozone government debt and U.S. Treasuries, operating under the stringent French UCITS regulation. The company intends to launch new funds and broaden its market presence across Europe, targeting countries such as Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Nordic region.
In approximately 15 months, Spiko has transformed from managing $400 million to nearly $3 billion, achieving an $800 million valuation by offering investment products based on short-term government debt.
