Mercado Bitcoin Adds SUI Transfers for 4.5 Million Brazilian Clients
Mercado Bitcoin, Latin America’s leading digital asset platform, has announced support for SUI asset transfers, making it the first exchange in Brazil to offer this functionality to its 4.5 million clients.
Key Developments and Price Outlook for SUI
The cryptocurrency SUI is currently experiencing renewed momentum, with its expansion into Brazil marking another significant development in a busy week. The price prediction for SUI hinges on its ability to maintain the critical $0.82 support level, while simultaneously seeing increased adoption, staking participation, and new ecosystem integrations that could bolster its outlook.
Users on the Mercado Bitcoin platform can now buy, sell, send, and receive SUI, USDC, and USDsui. This expansion significantly broadens access to these assets, though wider availability alone does not guarantee an increase in token demand.
Further enhancing the token’s utility, USDsui is set to become available as lending collateral for Mercado Bitcoin’s Brazilian customers, potentially extending its use beyond simple transfers and trading. The exchange is also exploring a Hashi integration following its mainnet launch, which could facilitate native Bitcoin lending and borrowing.
Technical Analysis and Support Levels
From a technical standpoint, SUI is reportedly stabilizing above a previously breached descending resistance level on the weekly chart. The $0.82 mark remains a crucial support level to monitor. A successful defense of this level could pave the way for buyers to target subsequent resistance levels at $1.30, $2.00, $2.40, and ultimately $4.50. However, these remain potential targets rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Conversely, a failure to hold $0.82 could weaken the bullish setup. Traders are advised to closely observe price action, rather than assuming that positive ecosystem developments will automatically translate into price gains.
Staking, Integrations, and Future Catalysts
Approximately 71% of SUI’s circulating supply is reportedly staked. Major entities such as Coinbase, Galaxy Digital, and Kraken are validating the network. Additionally, an integration with Samsung Wallet is anticipated to bring USDC to 82 million Galaxy devices via Sui.
The Hashi mainnet is also expected to launch before the end of the month, presenting another potential catalyst for the SUI token.
Ultimately, the SUI price prediction will depend on whether these developments lead to sustained demand. While the integration with Mercado Bitcoin in Brazil is encouraging, maintaining the $0.82 support and reclaiming higher resistance levels will be more critical than speculative hype alone.
