XRP Price Predictions Span Wall Street Optimism to Extreme Moonshots
XRP price predictions are currently ranging from a conservative $2.69 target from Wall Street analysts to an extraordinary $10,000 forecast by XRP advocate Jake Claver, as institutional adoption and ambitious crypto growth projections converge.
Asset manager 21Shares projects XRP could reach $2.69 in an optimistic scenario for 2026. Meanwhile, veteran trader Peter Brandt has outlined a longer-term target of $5.40. Standard Chartered offers an even more extended outlook, forecasting XRP at $28 by 2030. However, the most fervent XRP supporters are aiming significantly higher.
Claver remains steadfast in his $10,000 XRP price prediction. Such a valuation would surpass the combined market capitalization of today’s largest global financial markets, elevating the bullish discussion to one of crypto’s most extreme price targets.
In its January outlook, 21Shares presented a base case of $2.45 for XRP in 2026, with a bullish scenario at $2.69 and a bearish outcome at $1.60. The asset manager linked its optimistic forecast to increased institutional demand, potential inflows into a spot XRP ETF, the tokenization of real-world assets, and the growing adoption of Ripple’s financial infrastructure.
Peter Brandt’s $5.40 target is derived from a long-term chart pattern that he believes could propel XRP beyond its previous all-time high. Standard Chartered has pushed the institutional forecast further, anticipating XRP to reach $28 by 2030, driven by the expansion of tokenization and stablecoin adoption.
EGRAG Crypto has also presented a $50 scenario, based on historical monthly price patterns. At this level, XRP would command a market capitalization of approximately $3.15 trillion, assuming a circulating supply of around 63 billion tokens.
The forecasts become dramatically more ambitious with Claver’s projection. He believes XRP could first reach between $50 and $100 as banks begin to adopt it as a financial asset. He then anticipates institutional demand, coupled with what he terms a “systemic repricing,” to drive XRP towards the $10,000 mark.
Claver previously made a $100 prediction for the end of 2025, a target that XRP did not achieve. Nevertheless, his latest forecast maintains the five-figure scenario.
Bitcoin Layer 2 Solution Aims to Enhance Utility
The institutional narrative surrounding XRP also brings to the forefront a long-standing debate among Bitcoin maximalists: can Bitcoin evolve beyond a store of value without compromising its core security model? Bitcoin Hyper is positioning itself to address this by developing a Bitcoin Layer 2 solution designed to introduce faster transactions and smart-contract functionality to the world’s largest cryptocurrency.
This project aims to combine Bitcoin’s settlement layer with the execution capabilities of the Solana Virtual Machine, intending to support applications that the Bitcoin base layer was not originally designed to handle.
The project’s HYPER token is currently available through a presale, with a listing price of $0.0137 and staking rewards offering a 35% APY. The presale has already attracted over $33 million in investment, indicating substantial early investor interest.
This combination of an accessible entry price, staking incentives, and a Bitcoin-native approach has drawn the attention of crypto investors seeking infrastructure plays beyond established large-cap assets.
The institutional rationale is clear: if financial firms increasingly utilize blockchain networks for settlement, tokenization, and programmable finance, the Bitcoin ecosystem will require infrastructure capable of supporting these activities.
XRP has spent years building its case around payments and institutional liquidity. Bitcoin Hyper, however, is betting that Bitcoin can attract similar infrastructure demand without requiring Bitcoin holders to abandon the network they already trust.
Claver’s forecast remains the most aggressive target within the current XRP prediction landscape. His thesis hinges on XRP becoming a primary liquidity asset for banks and financial institutions, with demand eventually extending to large-scale derivatives settlement.
Claver has stated his $10,000 prediction is for late 2026 into the first half of 2027.
At $10,000 per token, XRP’s market value would approach approximately $630 trillion, based on a circulating supply of 63 billion tokens. This figure significantly exceeds the valuation implied by 21Shares’ $2.69 bull case, which places XRP near $170 billion using the same supply assumption.
The considerable disparity between these targets highlights the division within the XRP market. Institutional forecasts are grounded in ETF demand, adoption rates, and measurable financial use cases. In contrast, Claver’s ambitious projection relies on XRP becoming a central component of global financial infrastructure.
